This is an energising and empowering class honouring one breath, one movement approach to deepen mind-body connection and increase strength and flexibility. Students of all levels will enjoy this class based on Shiva Rea’s innovative and creative methods of teaching yoga through energetic alignment and progressive fluid sequences to encourage strength and fluidity, and to create a sense of lightness and joy on the mat and in everyday life.
‘In my classes I incorporate elements drawn from Krishnamacharya’s teachings, Tantra and Ayurveda. I work with different sequences to strengthen and open the body always being mindful and patient but also looking for a positive challenge. My classes are strong and energising but also fun and relaxing, and always accommodating different levels of experience. I offer a palette of methods/tools available within Yoga and Ayurveda and teach people how and when to use them to stay in balance.’
